Halter Training

For the safety of both animals and handlers, this service is only available at locations where a suitable cattle crush is provided on-site.

We understand how important every animal is, whether they live on a small hobby farm or a big commercial farm. Having a friendly herd makes life easier with feeding, giving pats and making cattle farming easier overall.

If you're wanting to break your cattle in to become halter trained for showing at country or royal shows, or to be able to walk safely around your property, the team are happy to help. 

We can teach you how to safely halter train your animals, brush their coats, clean hooves, wash and dry them, teach them to stand correctly for arena showing, and so much more.

Our halter training sessions are aimed at teaching you how to safely halter train your cows. The staff are on site for your first couple of sessions, guiding you in their behaviour and getting them used to a rope halter.

As you continue your training at home by yourself, as you get more confident, staff will return to teach you proper grooming, walking and washing techniques with your cattle.
